Join us for a special event co-sponsored by SVSU's Office of Diversity Programs, Academic Affairs, and the College of Science Engineering and Technology, featuring guests speaking on how diversity brings strength for climate action. Speakers include:
- Bill McKibben – Award winning author, Environmentalist, founder of "350.org", and founder of "Third Act" which organizes people over the age of 60 for action on climate and justice.
- Angela Ardis - State Director for Michigan at NextGen America which is a national campaign to engage, register, and turnout 18-35-year-old voters.
Students of the Climate Stick Club at SVSU and the Climate Stick Project, Inc. will provide additional activities to support the messages that our presenters will deliver:
