It is fine to go ahead and post your event while you are finalizing details. You need a date, a time, and a location if the event is in-person. You can fill in other details in the event description later, via your host event page. And after your event is posted, you can access your host page with easy social media share tools. The Council will also send the event out to our members in your area.

Your event can be big or small, casual or formal, virtual or in-person. Your focus can be global or local. It can be sponsored by a Democratic group, or a grassroots group. It can be a rally, nature hike, organizing meeting, roundtable, freeway cleanup, poetry reading...
