If you haven’t named your group, if you have one, then it should go here, as well as names of speakers, accessibility information, and why this is important - get people excited as you are!

Add Accessibility and COVID information: In the event description for in-person events, please describe any relevant COVID information and share wheelchair or other limited mobility access. For virtual events, tell if the event will have closed captions (this is an option that the participant can choose on YouTube and also on Zoom).

Is the event virtual or in-person? If it is a Hybrid event, choose “In-person” and then in the event title, call it “Hybrid” and explain in the “What’s the Plan” section how to register/access the event virtually, including the RSVP link.

For your event description you will want to include the purpose, what you hope to accomplish, anything attendees should bring - or know before arrival (names of speakers, parking, mass transit, accessibility). Some draft text to get you started is provided:
